Official standards for preventing, detecting, reporting, and enforcing actions against child sexual abuse and exploitation on Tillit.

Introduction
Tillit is an instant messaging application designed for private and secure communications, including optional deployment on privately managed servers. This document defines the official child safety standards applied by Tillit.
Although Tillit is strictly restricted to adults (18+), Tillit applies rigorous standards to prevent and address any behavior or content related to child sexual abuse or exploitation.
Zero Tolerance Policy
Tillit applies a strict zero-tolerance policy toward:
- Child sexual abuse
- Child sexual exploitation
- Grooming
- Sextortion
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
Any account, conversation, or activity associated with these violations is subject to immediate enforcement actions, including suspension or permanent termination.
Definition of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
Scope of prohibited conduct
For the purpose of this policy, child sexual abuse and exploitation includes any sexual activity, attempted sexual activity, coercion, manipulation, enticement, solicitation, extortion, or content involving a minor, including the creation, possession, distribution, or facilitation of child sexual abuse material.
This includes direct acts and indirect facilitation through communication, media sharing, or coordination on the platform.
User Reporting Mechanisms
In-app safety tools
Tillit provides in-app mechanisms that allow users to report accounts and conversations that may involve child safety violations.
- Reporting tools for user profiles and active conversations
- User blocking tools to prevent further contact
- Internal review workflow for submitted reports
Enforcement and Account Actions
Actions applied after review
When Tillit identifies or receives credible evidence of child safety violations, Tillit may apply one or more of the following actions:
- Immediate account suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Removal or restriction of violating content and related activity
- Preservation of relevant technical records in accordance with law
Cooperation with Authorities
Legal cooperation framework
Tillit cooperates with competent law enforcement and judicial authorities in relation to child sexual abuse and exploitation investigations, as required by applicable law.
Where legally required or lawfully requested, Tillit may provide relevant records and preserve data within statutory retention limits and due process requirements.
Age Restrictions
Adults-only access policy
Tillit is intended exclusively for users aged 18 years or older. Use by minors is prohibited under Tillit terms and safety rules.
Despite this adults-only policy, Tillit maintains strict child safety safeguards and enforcement standards across the service.

This policy is interpreted and enforced in accordance with applicable laws, including relevant European Union law and applicable international child protection laws.
Tillit may update operational practices to remain aligned with legal and regulatory requirements in the jurisdictions where the service is made available.
